Canoe to James Bay

All three of our children have enjoyed their years at Camp Bil-O-Wood in Blind River, Ontario.  I can't direct you to a website because the Camp accepts campers strictly on personal recommendation.

The camp has been in the hands of the Ludwig family for over 50 years.  It takes an old-fashioned approach, combining various sports with traditional activities, such as arts and crafts.  The leading activity is canoeing, with the North Woods and the Arctic watershed available for tripping.  The camp is co-ed, with campers ranging in age from kindergarten through high school.

We cannot recommend it highly enough.  For more information, call Jim Ludwig at 610.944.7785.  His email is jelkel@attglobal.net
